1 Kings Chapter 12, Verse 28

28: Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold,
and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up
out of the land of Egypt.
28: And finding out a device, he made two golden calves, and said to
them: Go ye up no more to Jerusalem: Behold thy gods, O Israel, who
brought thee out of the land of Egypt.
28: And the king took counsel, and went, and made two golden heifers, and said to the people, Let it suffice you to have gone [hitherto] to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
