6: And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood
before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do
ye advise that I may answer this people?
6: King Roboam took counsel with the old men, that stood before
Solomon, his father, while he yet lived, and he said: What counsel do
you give me, that I may answer this people?
6: And the king referred [the matter] to the elders, who stood before Solomon his father while he was yet living, saying, How do ye advise that I should answer this people?
