10: And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of
hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant,
thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the
sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to
take it away.
10: And he answered: With zeal have I been zealous for the Lord God
of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant: they
have thrown down thy altars, they have slain thy prophets with the
sword, and I alone am left, and they seek my life to take it away.
10: And Eliu said, I have been very jealous for the Lord Almighty, because the children of Israel have forsaken thee: they have digged down thine altars, and have slain thy prophets with the sword; and I only am left alone, and they seek my life to take it.
