1 Kings Chapter 21, Verse 29

29: Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he
humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his
days: but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his
house.
29: Hast thou not seen Achab humbled before me? therefore, because he
hath humbled himself, for my sake, I will not bring the evil in his
days, but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his house.
29: Hast thou seen how Achaab has been pricked [to the heart] before me? I will not bring on the evil in his days, but in his son's days will I bring on the evil. 22:1 And he rested three years, and there was no war between Syria and Israel.
