5: But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah:
but the LORD had shut up her womb.
5: But to Anna he gave one portion with sorrow, because he loved Anna.
And the Lord had shut up her womb.
5: And to Anna he gave a prime portion, because she had no child, only Helkana loved Anna more than the other; but the Lord [had] closed her womb.
