12: And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon
came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign
over us: when the LORD your God was your king.
12: But seeing that Naas, king of the children of Ammon, was come
against you, you said to me: Nay, but a king shall reign over us:
whereas the Lord your God was your king.
12: And ye saw that Naas king of the children of Ammon came against you, and ye said, Nay, none but a king shall reign over us; whereas the Lord our God [is] our king.
