27: But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with
the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was
in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand
to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.
27: But Jonathan had not heard when his father adjured the people:
and he put forth the end of the rod, which he had in his hand, and dipt
it in a honeycomb: and he carried his hand to his mouth, and his eyes
were enlightened.
27: And Jonathan had not heard when his father adjured the people; and he reached forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, an dipped it into the honeycomb, and returned his hand to his mouth, and his eyes recovered their sight.
