6: If thy father at all miss me, then say, David earnestly asked
leave of me that he might run to Bethlehem his city: for there
is a yearly sacrifice there for all the family.
6: If thy father look and inquire for me, thou shalt answer him:
David asked me that he might run to Bethlehem, his own city: because
there are solemn sacrifices there for all of his tribe.
6: And if thy father do in anywise enquire for me, then shalt thou say, David earnestly asked leave of me to run to Bethleem his city, for [there is] there, a yearly sacrifice for all the family.
