5: And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth
women have been kept from us about these three days, since I
came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and the
bread is in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified
this day in the vessel.
5: And David answered the priest, and said to him: Truly, as to what
concerneth women, we have refrained ourselves from yesterday and the day
before, when we came out, and the vessels of the young men were holy.
Now this way is defiled, but it shall also be sanctified this day in the
vessels.
5: And David answered the priest, and said to him, Yea, we have been kept from women for three day: when I came forth for the journey all the young men were purified; but this expedition is unclean, wherefore it shall be sanctified this day because of my weapons.
