3: But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which
he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with
him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and
drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him
as a daughter.
3: But the poor man had nothing at all but one little ewe lamb, which
he had bought and nourished up, and which had grown up in his house
together with his children, eating of his bread, and drinking of his
cup, and sleeping in his bosom: and it was unto him as a daughter.
3: But the poor [man had] only one little ewe lamb, which he had purchased, and preserved, and reared; an it grew up with himself and his children in common; it ate of his bread and drank of his cup, and slept in his bosom, and was to him as a daughter.
