9: Behold, he is hid now in some pit, or in some other place: and
it will come to pass, when some of them be overthrown at the
first, that whosoever heareth it will say, There is a
slaughter among the people that follow Absalom.
9: Perhaps he now lieth hid in pits, or in some other place where he
liest: and when any one shall fall at the first, every one that heareth
it shall say: There is a slaughter among the people that followed
Absalom.
9: For, behold, he is now hidden in one of the hills or in some [other] place: and it shall come to pass when he falls upon them at the beginning, that [some one] will certainly hear, and say, There has been a slaughter among the people that follow after Abessalom.
