17: But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David sware unto
him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that
thou quench not the light of Israel.
17: And Abisai the son of Sarvia rescued him, and striking the
Philistine killed him. Then David's men swore unto him saying: Thou
shalt go no more out with us to battle, lest thou put out the lamp of
Israel.
17: And Abessa the son of Saruia helped him and smote the Philistine, and slew him. Then the men of David swore, saying, Thou shalt not any longer go out with us to battle, and thou shalt not quench the lamp of Israel.
