12: εκαλουν τε τον μεν βαρναβαν δια τον δε παυλον ερμην επειδη αυτος ην ο ηγουμενος του λογου
12: And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius,
because he was the chief speaker.
12: The priest also of Jupiter that was before the city, bringing
oxen and garlands before the gate, would have offered sacrifice with the
people.
