16: εκρινεν γαρ ο παυλος παραπλευσαι την εφεσον οπως μη γενηται αυτω χρονοτριβησαι εν τη ασια εσπευδεν γαρ ει δυνατον ην αυτω την ημεραν της πεντηκοστης γενεσθαι εις ιεροσολυμα
16: For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would
not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible
for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.
16: For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, lest he should be
stayed any time in Asia. For he hasted, if it were possible for him, to
keep the day of Pentecost at Jerusalem.
