23: λεγοντες οτι το μεν δεσμωτηριον ευρομεν κεκλεισμενον εν παση ασφαλεια και τους φυλακας εξω εστωτας προ των θυρων ανοιξαντες δε εσω ουδενα ευρομεν
23: Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and
the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had
opened, we found no man within.

the keepers standing before the door: but opening it, we found no man
within.
