Berothah
From BibleWiki
(Redirected from Berothai)
A city of Hadadezer, from which David obtained much brass subsequently used by Solomon in making the brazen sea, pillars, and vessels of brass (2 Sam 8:8). In the parallel account of 1Chr 18:8 it is called Chun, which Cheyne considers to be a corruption either of the first three letters of "Berothai" or of some other name. In Ezekiel's ideal Israel (Ezek 47:16) it was located on the northern border.
