Deuteronomy Chapter 2, Verse 14

14: And the space in which we came from Kadeshbarnea, until we
were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years;
until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out
from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.
14: And the time that we journeyed from Cadesbarne till we passed over
the torrent Zared, was thirty-eight years: until all the generation of
the men that were fit for war was consumed out of the camp, as the Lord
had sworn:
14: And the days in which we traveled from Cades Barne till we crossed the valley of Zaret, [were] thirty and eight years, until the whole generation of the men of war failed, dying out of the camp, as the Lord God sware to them.
