17: But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the
firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath:
for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the
firstborn is his.
17: But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn,
and shall give him a double portion of all he hath: for this is the
first of his children, and to him are due the first birthrights.
17: But he shall acknowledge the first-born of the hated one to give to him double of all things which shall be found by him, because he is the first of his children, and to him belongs the birthright.
