  1. Wife of Caleb (son of Hezron) and mother of Hur (1Chr 2:19, 1Chr 2:50; 1Chr 4:4).
  2. Another name for Bethlehem (Gen 35:19, Gen 48:7; Ruth 1:2, Ruth 4:11; Ps 1326; Mic 5:1). The name "Ephratah" occurs once (1Chr 2:24) joined with "Caleb" - "Caleb-ephratah."
