Exodus Chapter 2, Verse 6

6: And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold,
the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This
is one of the Hebrews' children.
6: And having opened it, she sees the babe weeping in the ark: and the daughter of Pharao had compassion on it, and said, This [is one] of the Hebrew's children.
The exposure of the child at once led the king's daughter to conclude that it was one of the Hebrews' children.
