Exodus Chapter 34, Verse 12

12: Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the
inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a
snare in the midst of thee:
12: Beware thou never join in friendship with the inhabitants of that
land, which may be thy ruin:
12: take heed to thyself, lest at any time thou make a covenant with the dwellers on the land, into which thou art entering, lest it be to thee a stumbling-block among you.
