Exodus Chapter 34, Verse 7

7: Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and
transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the
guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the
children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and
to the fourth generation.
7: Who keepest mercy unto thousands: who takest away iniquity, and
wickedness, and sin, and no man of himself is innocent before thee. Who
renderest the iniquity of the fathers to the children, and to the
grandchildren unto the third and fourth generation.
7: and keeping justice and mercy for thousands, taking away iniquity, and unrighteousness, and sins; and he will not clear the guilty; bringing the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and to the children's children, to the third and fourth generation.
