Genesis Chapter 8, Verse 20

20: And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

fowls that were clean, offered holocausts upon the altar.
20: And Noe built an altar to the Lord, and took of all clean beasts, and of all clean birds, and offered a whole burnt-offering upon the altar.
The altar of Noah is a prototype of the altars of Abraham and the patriarchs. The altars of Abraham and the patriarchs were a prototype of the tabernacle which was a prototype of the temple which was a prototype of the Throne of God (Revelation 1:4)
