11: σπουδασωμεν ουν εισελθειν εις εκεινην την καταπαυσιν ινα μη εν τω αυτω τις υποδειγματι πεση της απειθειας
11: Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Take your salvation seriously and ensure you have drawn near to God with a strong faith. Not labouring in the sense of working for salvation, but working to keep our relationship with God healthy and strong to ensure a robust faith. If we lose our faith, we will fall and not be able to enter God's rest. This is a loss of faith due to neglect; sin is the main catalyst for this loss of faith as it says in Heb 3:12. The presence of unconfessed sin in a believer is not the problem, its the absence of faith. Continual sin hardens the heart and decieves one into abandoning the faith.
