4: For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime
into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them
without cause.

beginning to sojourn there: and the Assyrian hath oppressed them without
any cause at all.
4: Thus saith the Lord, My people went down before to Egypt to sojourn there; and were carried away forcibly to the Assyrians.
