24: θωμας δε εις εκ των δωδεκα ο λεγομενος διδυμος ουκ ην μετ αυτων οτε ηλθεν ο ιησους
24: But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with
them when Jesus came.

Thomas, one of the Twelve, the one called ‘Twin’, was not with them when they saw Jesus.
- τῶν δώδεκα is a substantival use of the article.
- λεγόμενος is an adjectival participle.
