John Chapter 4, Verse 15

15: λεγει προς αυτον η γυνη κυριε δος μοι τουτο το υδωρ ινα μη διψω μηδε ερχωμαι ενθαδε αντλειν
15: The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I
thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
15: The woman said to him: Sir, give me this water, that I may not
thirst, nor come hither to draw.
The woman said, &c. It may seem strange that the woman did not yet understand him, but it shows how slow sinners are to understand the doctrines of religion.
