John Chapter 4, Verse 53

53: εγνω ουν ο πατηρ οτι εν εκεινη τη ωρα εν η ειπεν αυτω ο ιησους οτι ο υιος σου ζη και επιστευσεν αυτος και η οικια αυτου ολη
53: So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which
Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and
his whole house.
53: The father therefore knew that it was at the same hour that Jesus
said to him: Thy son liveth. And himself believed, and his whole house.
The same hour. The very time when Jesus spoke.
The fever left him. It seems that it left him suddenly and entirely; so much so that his friends went to inform the father, and to comfort him, and also, doubtless, to apprise him that it was not necessary to ask aid from Jesus.
Himself believed. This miracle removed all his doubts, and he became a real disciple and friend of Jesus.
His whole house. His whole family.
