John Chapter 6, Verse 14

14: οι ουν ανθρωποι ιδοντες ο εποιησεν σημειον ο ιησους ελεγον οτι ουτος εστιν αληθως ο προφητης ο ερχομενος εις τον κοσμον
14: Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
14: Now those men, when they had seen what a miracle Jesus had done,
said: This is of a truth the prophet that is to come into the world.
That Prophet, &c. The Messiah. The power to work the miracle, and the benevolence manifested in it, showed that he was the long- expected Messiah.
