2: That they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city, as
one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai,
and all the men thereof were mighty.
2: He was exceedingly afraid. For Gabaon was a great city, and one of
the royal cities, and greater than the town of Hai, and all its fighting
men were most valiant.
2: then they were greatly terrified by them, for [the king] knew that Gabaon [was] a great city, as one of the chief cities, and all its men [were] mighty.
