35: And they took it on that day, and smote it with the edge of
the sword, and all the souls that were therein he utterly
destroyed that day, according to all that he had done to Lachish.
35: And took it the same day: and put to the sword all the souls that
were in it, according to all that he had done to Lachis.
35: And the Lord delivered it into the hand of Israel; and he took it on that day, and slew the inhabitants with the edge of the sword, and slew every thing breathing in it, as they did to Lachis.
