6: But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid
them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon
the roof.
6: But she made the men go up to the top of her house, and covered
them with the stalks of flax, which was there.
6: But she [had] brought them up upon the house, and hid them in the flax-stalks that were spread by her on the house.
Joshua Chapter 2, Verse 6/commentary
This is a reference to the custom of drying flax-stalks by exposing them to the sun on the flat roofs of houses.
