Joshua Chapter 7, Verse 7

7: And Joshua said, Alas, O LORD God, wherefore hast thou at all
brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand
of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been
content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan!
7: And Josue said: Alas, O Lord God, why wouldst thou bring this
people over the river Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the
Amorrhite, and to destroy us? would God we had stayed beyond the
Jordan, as we began.
7: And Joshua said, I pray, Lord, wherefore has thy servant brought this people over Jordan to deliver them to the Amorite to destroy us? would we had remained and settled ourselves beyond Jordan.
