Meaning: adhesion.

  1. Levi (son of Jacob)
  2. The father of Matthat, and son of Simeon, of the ancestors of Jesus (Lk 3:29).
  3. Lk 3:24.
  4. One of the apostles, the son of Alphaeus (Mk 2:14; Lk 5:27ff), called also Matthew (Mt 9:9).
