Luke Chapter 13, Verse 28
From BibleWiki
28: There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall
see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in
the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
28: There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth; when you shall see
Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God:
and you yourselves thrust out.
The dead in hell under condemnation and torment shall behold Abraham and others in heaven within the eternal state of comfort and joy in the kingdom of God. Luke makes the point more subtly here but less subtly later in the story of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31).
