28: ομοιως και ως εγενετο εν ταις ημεραις λωτ ησθιον επινον ηγοραζον επωλουν εφυτευον ωκοδομουν
28: Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they
drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
28: Likewise as it came to pass in the days of Lot. They did eat and
drink, they bought and sold, they planted and built.
They did eat, &c. They were busy in the affairs of this life, as if
nothing were about to happen.
