Luke Chapter 19, Verse 16

16: παρεγενετο δε ο πρωτος λεγων κυριε η μνα σου προσειργασατο δεκα μνας
16: Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten
pounds.
16: And the first came saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained ten
pounds.
Ten cities. We are not to suppose that this will be literally fulfilled in heaven. Christ teaches here that our reward in heaven will be in proportion to our faithfulness in improving our talents on earth.
