47: και ην διδασκων το καθ ημεραν εν τω ιερω οι δε αρχιερεις και οι γραμματεις εζητουν αυτον απολεσαι και οι πρωτοι του λαου
47: And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and
the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,

Daily in the temple. That is, for five or six days before his
crucifixion.
