10: ειστηκεισαν δε οι αρχιερεις και οι γραμματεις ευτονως κατηγορουντες αυτου
10: And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused
him.
10: And the chief priests and the scribes stood by, earnestly
accusing him.
Vehemently accused him. Violently or unjustly accused him,
endeavouring to make it appear that he had been guilty of sedition in
Herod's province.
