Luke Chapter 24, Verse 17

17: ειπεν δε προς αυτους τινες οι λογοι ουτοι ους αντιβαλλετε προς αλληλους περιπατουντες και εστε σκυθρωποι
17: And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these
that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
17: And he said to them: What are these discourses that you hold one
with another as you walk and are sad?
What manner of communications, &c. What is the subject of your
conversation? What is it that has so much affected your minds? They
were deeply affected in the recollection of the death of Jesus; and,
as became all Christians, they were conversing about him, and were sad
at the overwhelming events that had come upon them.
