29: παρηγγελλεν παρηγγειλεν γαρ τω πνευματι τω ακαθαρτω εξελθειν απο του ανθρωπου πολλοις γαρ χρονοις συνηρπακει αυτον και εδεσμειτο αλυσεσιν και πεδαις φυλασσομενος και διαρρησσων τα δεσμα ηλαυνετο υπο του δαιμονος εις τας ερημους
29: (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the
man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound
with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was
driven of the devil into the wilderness.)
29: For he commanded the unclean spirit to go out of the man. For
many times it seized him: and he was bound with chains and kept in
fetters: and breaking the bonds, he was driven by the devil into the
deserts.
