29: και εγενετο εν τω προσευχεσθαι αυτον το ειδος του προσωπου αυτου ετερον και ο ιματισμος αυτου λευκος εξαστραπτων
29: And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered,
and his raiment was white and glistering.
29: And whilst he prayed, the shape of his countenance was altered and
his raiment became white and glittering.
The fashion. The appearance. Glistering. Shining like lightning
-- of a bright, dazzling whiteness. As Mark says, "more white than any
fuller could make it."
