1: και συναγονται προς αυτον οι φαρισαιοι και τινες των γραμματεων ελθοντες απο ιεροσολυμων
1: Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the
scribes, which came from Jerusalem.
1: And there assembled together unto him the Pharisees and some of the
scribes, coming from Jerusalem.
Came from Jerusalem. Probably to observe his conduct, and to find matter of accusation against him.
