Mark Chapter 9, Verse 17

17: και αποκριθεις εις εκ του οχλου ειπεν διδασκαλε ηνεγκα τον υιον μου προς σε εχοντα πνευμα αλαλον
17: And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have
brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;
17: Who, wheresoever he taketh him, dasheth him: and he foameth and
gnasheth with the teeth and pineth away. And I spoke to thy disciples to
cast him out: and they could not.
A dumb spirit. A spirit which deprived his son of the power of speaking.
