Matthew Chapter 24, Verse 49

49: και αρξηται τυπτειν τους συνδουλους εσθιειν δε και πινειν μετα των μεθυοντων
49: And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and
drink with the drunken;
49: And shall begin to strike his fellow servants and shall eat and
drink with drunkards:
Smite his fellowservants, etc. This is the conduct of a wicked servant, who, supposing he would not be called to account, and abusing his authority, gave himself up to oppression, carousing, and debauchery. It is designed to represent the conduct of ministers who are unfaithful, overbearing, and who abuse their trust in the church.
