Matthew Chapter 26, Verse 35

35: λεγει αυτω ο πετρος καν δεη με συν σοι αποθανειν ου μη σε απαρνησομαι ομοιως και παντες οι μαθηται ειπον
35: Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I
not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
35: Peter saith to him: Yea, though I should die with thee, I will
not deny thee. And in like manner said all the disciples.
Will I not deny thee. Will not deny my connexion with thee, or that I knew thee. All the disciples said the same thing, and all fled at the approach of danger, forsaking their Master and Friend, and practically denying that they knew him, Mt 26:56
