Nahor (son of Serug)

Meaning: snorting

Son of Serug; father of Terah and, consequently, grandfather of Abraham. He is said to have lived one hundred and forty-eight years (Gen 11:22-25; 1Chr 1:26). (Gen 11:22ff; Lk 3:34).
