Numbers Chapter 13, Verse 2

2: Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which
I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their
fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.
2: And there the Lord spoke to Moses, saying.
2: Send for thee men, and let them spy the land of the Chananites, which I give to the sons of Israel for a possession; one man for a tribe, thou shalt send them away according to their families, every one of them a prince.
