Preacher

A Preacher is someone who tells others the good news about God, in paticular Jesus. It does not refer to someone who just tells his or her mates, family members, etc, but rather, someone who tells a larger number of people, generally in a church environment, rather than an Evangelist who tells the good news in a more public manner.

The word preacher has old-english connotations, as does priest, whereas some modern denominations such as CRC Churches International, Assemblies of God, Church of Christ, etc, prefer to use the word Pastor.
