Ram (son of Hezron)

The son of Hezron, and one of the ancestors of the royal line (Ruth 4:19). The margin of 1Chr 2:9, also Mt 1:3f and Lk 3:33, have "Aram."
The actual child of Ram is unknown, as is whether he is in the royal line or whether Arni is, although one suggestion is that Arni is another name for Ram. For the purposes of this genealogy, the chosen decendent of Ram is Amminadab
This person is part of the genealogy of Jesus.
